In January of 2021, independent filmmaker Alexander Hagani founded NORTH130 to produce his short film, “Valid Glitter”.
In the Summer of 2022, Alexander produced/directed/wrote his next short film, “Top Shot” under his NORTH130 banner.
In the Summer of 2023, Alexander used N130 to produce/direct/write his first commercial, a Spec Ad for the New York Knicks.
“Valid Glitter” premiered in September of 2022 at the Greenpoint Film Festival and then went on to screen at the 20th Annual Tallgrass Film Festival in Wichita, Kansas, and the 39th Annual Chicago International Children’s Film Festival (an Academy Award Qualifying Film Festival) in Chicago, IL.
“Top Shot” premiered in November of 2023 at the Academy Award Qualifying, St. Louis International Film Festival.
The name NORTH130 is an homage to Alexander’s filmmaking roots in NYC.

MEET ALEX
Alexander Hagani is a New York City native and award-winning filmmaker who draws inspiration from his own experiences and unique upbringing as a child of divorce.
Alexander started NORTH130 (N130 for short) to produce and create moving stories while striving towards the long-term goal of creating long-form narratives (whether that be feature films or television).
So far, the two shorts made under the N130 banner are funny, dramatic, entertaining, moving, and focused on the struggles of growing up.
As N130’s ‘Top Shot’ takes on the film festival circuit, Alexander is developing the short into his debut feature film.
